A Few Facts

The draft is redundant anyway, every male citizen between 17 and 47 is militia already.
Awesome. If you do not register for the Selective Service and you are a male over the age of 18 you are ineligible for many federal benefits.

I think you might have stumbled into yet another area where you have few facts in your possession.

Despite your protest of innocence this is what I actually responded to. You wrote, "I would point out your own reply

So...what if the male of our species has advantages in a situation where brute strength is important?"

Sanctimony is an ugly thing. I assumed your position had "evolved".

Perhaps a bit of soul searching would be beneficial.

I see....so by asking her a question to gain clarity on her position, my own has somehow evolved?

Not worth further attention.

I never said it was...

I said the draft was irreverent because everyone between 17 and 47 is already militia. Learn to read.
You do realize this place keeps a record of what we write, don't you?

On Super Bowl Sunday I'd like to see the NFL forced to accept female players as well. Why is it men only are drafted into the NFL?sn't that unfair? Why can't women under some equal rights clause demand half or more than half the players on each team be representative of the female gender.

Wouldn't that make the league more fair? Balance the game out more? Give women the opportunities to make these huge salaries and be represented by a union?

Nevermind the quality of play, the quality of our fighting forces aren't considered when adding females to our combat ranks, why should that be an issue in the NFL.

Imagine Ray Lewis(6-1 240lbs) catching up with 49ers QB Candy Copernicus(5-8 132lbs). And then assisting on the tackle 6-4 340lbs Haloti Ngata.

Can you say we'll be right back after this quick time out brought to you by Spencer Funeral Home?

In response to you saying my point was wrong... The draft is irreverent as the gov't can simply issue a call to arms to any citizen between 17 and 47. The draft only exists as a matter of convince (easier to put conscripts into a standing military force then raise, organize and arm what amounts to a levy). You challenged this point thus indicating you never actually read the Constitution as you would have understood my point otherwise. Believe it or not but there is more then just the Bill of Rights...

I'm pretty sure women CAN play in the NFL. There is no rule against it...

They could, but cheer leading probably pays better then being a benchwarmer and is undoubtedly more healthy. :p

Yeah....all those women trying to become linebackers should join together and file a class action suit.

Do you? You're the classic case of an internet tough guy, needlessly aggressive just because nobody know's who to retaliate against IRL. Walk up to someone on the street and bad mouth them like you do people here, I dare you. ;)

No joining necessary, wouldn't a woman be able to file suit in this litigious society based on the fact that women are clearly discriminated against, there are no female linebackers in the NFL. Why is that?

No there isn't unless the women can prove it was conspiracy and considering that there have been women at the college level I don't think there is really a case there. In fact, I'll go as far as to say I think in my lifetime I will see a woman in the NFL, probably at the kicker position.

Likely because none have wanted to be a linebacker, and would not be recruited if they did,

Well David, you don't like when someone gives you back what you dish out?

Awesome. As far as toughness goes, who knows just how tough I am?

You be polite with me and I will reciprocate. Your obnoxious "Learn to read" comments will get you the kinds of responses you have been getting.

We when you say I said something I didn't or repeat my own arguments back to me like they're yours, I'm going to call you on it and eat popcorn as you stutter and rant incoherently for 3 pages.
