Gov. Rod Blagojevich removed from office

Just a few minutes ago, the Illinois State Senate removed him from office for corruption. Looks like the guy finally got what he had coming to him.

This JUST happened so stand by for an official source.

It was about time. I'm really can't believe that he didn't just resign. 59-0 vote in the State Senate too. I don't think I've ever seen so many people jump ship so quickly. Not even 1 dissenting vote. He screwed up bad.

Not to mention that he didn't even try to plead his case during the trial but literally begged them not to impeach him and claimed he was innocent the entire time during his closing argument. Maybe he should have kept off the late night tv shows and at least tried to care.

That guy was a joke, but I have a feeling the real crooks are still roaming free.

He was just a mere puppet to take the blame, as if he had been clever enough to organize such corruption he would have made some attempt to clean up his image, but he didn't.
