That the OVERWHELMING majority of media is liberal is uncontestable - their bias is pervasive, constant, profound, decades-long, and deeply institutionalized. It's manifest in what they cover and don't cover, their use of the jargon of the left, the assumptions made in their news stories, how they manipulate video, who they pick to "represent" conservatives, on and on and on - they have a million and one ways to tweak the news.

During the 2008 election campaign, they gave up even the PRETENSE of being anything but obama cheerleaders - imagine how bad it is when even msnbc - MSNBC! - felt it had to yank Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann from election coverage anchor jobs because of raw bias.

Unfortunately, Irene didn't cooperate. The flooded Manhattan scenario, with tidal waves swamping the subways, just didn't happen. In fact, mayor bloomberg looks a little silly now for practically shutting down the whole city. It's amusing seeing these folks start swallowing their own propaganda. All the broadcast networks had their reporters fanned out up and down the coast in eager anticipation of disaster, and they had only the REALLY SCARY two foot waves to report on.

Remember the dire predictions after Katrina? America would end up getting hit with seven great hurricanes a season, etc. Now the first land fall hurricane in three years turns out to be no worse than a big rainstorm.

It's easy to determine that you don't live on the east coast. Maybe you were hoping for more dead liberals maybe? I have this image of you with teabags stapled to your fishing hat, go figure.

Apparently many new england towns are mismanaged, making the assumption that a flood would never occur - now they're paying for their stupidity.
