Hey, wait a minute! I was a greaser in the 50s, the way I remember it, we were the ones that beat up the jocks, punks! We were screwing the girl friends of the jocks that were just holding hands, those girls were putting on the "goodie two shoes" front but really wanted some action and never mentioned marriage, just if you had protection. They fed you that BS because most were jocks and it's hard to admit that the greasers ruled.

This means nothing to me as I was only born in '81. :giggle:

Many a times there have been historians who have reflected their own feelings in the recordings they made. However, it is important to remember that even though there could have been small variations, most known sources today were respected in their professions.

History exists, a lot of what we learn is fact, but other things can't be 100% sure as it's not all documented.

On the subject of historians, revisionists are pricks. I have met revisionists, I have read their works, I have spoken at length with revisionists, and I can affirm they have little of value to say.

I think that is a vague generalization that just isn't true. I am not sure if you are thinking of a particular group or what, but revisionism isn't always bad. For example, some of the things that are considered fact in today's freer societies are the result of revisionism after those societies became free from tyrants who needed to hide the truth for political purposes.

Sorry, I was talking of negationism.

However, revisionists in general tend to get on my nerves. Basically because they think i'm a Marxist. :p
