Liberals distancing themselves from Obama?

I'm not really surprised. The major anti-war groups (much of them Liberal, some left-ish) supprted Obama's presidency. Hell knows why - Obama didn't even try to appeal to the Liberals, anti-capitalists and anti-war lot. I hope that people get disillusioned with Obama. He's too far right for most Democrats, let alone the actual left. I hope people start to realise they aren't going to get what they thought they were voting for.

I was watching CNN the other day and they had an "OMG Obama is a war president!!11!!" guy on. When asked by the anchor if he acknowledged that President Obama had declared the Afghan War to be a 'must-win' he did but then did the whole "but he didn't mean it" routine.

:rolleyes: was all I could do is response to such idiocy.

I guess he had to "come out" sooner or later. I think the liberals in his Party were already unhappy about quite a number of decisions he made, that toe the Bush line, instead of committing himself to his campaign speech undertakings. His speech at Westpoint must have nailed it for them finally.
