That's fine if you want to settle for that. For me if this is all there is it is not worth that much to me.

if life isnt worth living why bother? The greatest enigma to man is life, and the fact that it is finite makes it far more precious. If you are not living life to the fullest you are just hanging around waiting for death.
I make no speculation on the afterlife, i cant i have never died before, but i think we (christians) owe it to God to live full happy lives, life is a gift, you dont say to the giver of a gift, "i dont like this gift" you make it into something worth having.

if you are not christian why do you want to go to heaven and serve God, hell as i define it is distance from God, if you are atheist what could be better. if you dont believe in salvation why is it so important that you be saved?
and how would anybody know if you are condemned to hell, only God can say that, if that happens after you die then so be it, i cant speculate because i am incapable of death and then undeath. so therefor anybody who says this is what happens when you die is a charlatin.
furthermore God is infinite forgiveness so therefore the so called heaven is available to all. i choose to live by Gods teachings because they have a fundamental undertone to them, infinite love and infinite forgiveness.

Atheists and non atheists aren't very diffrent. And the teachings of my religion tell me to act on a benefit of the doubt, that is what I do.
Atheists want to be happy, and have all their needs met. And exist in peace, that is what i want.

Souls under Buddhism will be reincarnated again and again until its pure. What is pure = to one with all. In Islam and christian exist hell and heaven. A body we carry means nothing in these hell and heaven but its the soul that matters. Your soul can if it want carry the same body or carry the body of OBAMA, it does not matter.

Well you could always ask someone who died.
That is why i said it was unknowable. Nobody has ever come back.
That depends on how you define death. Plenty of people have died as per the medical definition and come back with all sorts of stories.
Yes I did not give much thought to the near death experiences, but honestly nobody can really comprehend that outside of the person who experienced it. Near death experiences are quite esoteric, in order for us to know that we would have to experience it. And is the vision really the after life our is it something else? How would any one know for sure?
