Mail-in Voting

Say the Trump campaign contests and challenges, in court, the validity and accuracy of these mail-in ballots for a number of states.

Say those states make up those votes to push the Electoral Vote over 270, i.e., no candidate gets 270. On or about the 6th of January 2021, the President of the Senate, in joint session, reads off the official number of electoral votes. With none having 270 votes, the Presidential election goes to the House.

I am not going guess the out come of the members of Congress for the next Congress so let's just use the congressional makeup as it is today.

That would mean, if all members vote on a strictly party line, Trump would win the Presidency by a vote of 26 to 23, with one state a tie vote.

Y'all sure you want mail-in voting?

I can't accept such a situation .
The postal vote is a right .
The President must do anything to maintain the post system in use .
The President has stated the 13 augustus that he do want he can to prevent the postal vote.
The man that he has appointed to the post not only is a friend of Trump but he has also interest in the collapse of the post because he has shares and stock option into concurrent private sociéties ,and he do his best to collapse the USPS

You are sur that you agree that system ?

ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Sunday Today spent the morning accusing the President of a conspiracy to steal the 2020 election. ABC called it the “mail-in voting scandal” while NBC dubbed it the “Postal Service crisis;” accusing Postmaster General Louis DeJoy of allegedly doing Trump’s dirty work.

The Postal Massacre (USPS)

Trump has every interest in sabotaging the post office, since there are many more "democratic" voters who use the postal vote as many "Republican" voters.
And his accomplice (Louis Dejoy) too …. He has interests and stock option in a private alternative !!!!!!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Trump did not hide to tell the press on August 13 that he was sabotaging the US postal service

to prevent mail-in voting on the grounds that it is fraught with fraud, which is totally false; everyone admits it!!

The methods employed by Trump are numerous, and to begin with he not only reduced the credits to the post, but also

appointed one of his friends (Louis Dejoy) as head of the postal service.

It did not remain "inactive":

a) compulsory early retirement of all those who were in the conditions.
b) not to work overtime
c) priority to "package" mail over "letter" mail.
d) deleting hundreds of mailboxes
e) removal of hundreds of postal sorting machines

Moreover... this man (his accomplice ; Louis Dejoy) has every interest in the fact that apart from the election itself, the post office collapses:

(a) has an interest in a private alternative to the postal service
(b) they have purchase options in Amazon (for parcel transportation).

In New Jersey, on August 15, a lawsuit was filed for sabotage of public services and conflict of interest!!

For the elections of 3 November, voting by post may take place from 1 September.

I believe that people have every interest in voting as soon as possible, because in my opinion the votes cast on October 15 will be "lost"!!!

Last Friday, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) followed the lead of the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) by endorsing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Thus far, most objections to increasing the role of the USPS in the election process involve the inevitable logistical problems that will accompany a precipitous expansion of mail-in voting. The addition of overt partisanship among postal workers to inefficiency renders it obvious that the widespread expansion of vote-by-mail is dangerous.

On behalf of nearly 300,000 active and retired letter carriers, we are proud to endorse Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to lead this country as president and vice president.… The Executive Council’s decision to endorse the Biden/Harris ticket was based on the input of our membership through polling, surveys, responses to our candidate questionnaire.… The decision is also partly informed by what we have seen from the current administration with regard to the Postal Service.

The American Postal Workers Union’s National Executive Board has voted to endorse Joe Biden for President.… In their decision, the Board recognized his record of advancing the cause of unions, his support for the public Postal Service.… Former Vice-President Biden remains committed to helping end the assault on the Postal Service.… Without an immediate infusion of cash from Congress and the White House, the Postal Service will likely run out of money by fall due to COVID-related revenue losses.

There are two genuine problems associated with the sudden expansion of the USPS role in our electoral system in the midst of a crucial election.

First, the postal service is in no way prepared, as they have formally advised no fewer than 46 states in warning letters.

Second, postal workers are by no means nonpartisan. They are represented by unions that have endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden and clearly hope to assist him in defeating President Trump in November.

Ultimately, a vastly expanded role in our electoral process for the U.S. Postal Service will result in chaos and chicanery. Never has it been more important to go to the polls and vote in person.

Attorneys general from Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Washington and North Carolina are among at least six Democratic state officials discussing a lawsuit against the administration over the series of recent cost-cutting moves made at the agency.

Democrats raise increasing alarm about delays in delivery service around the country and whether recent USPS decisions could harm mail-in voting, which is expected to play a more pivotal role in this year's presidential election because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"I am reviewing all legal options to protect this election," North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein (D) said in a tweet Saturday, citing noting that USPS warned his state about ballot delays.

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey (D) told The Boston Globe that officials were discussing "legal action to remedy what the Trump administration has done and to prevent them from further interfering with the operations of the Postal Service."

Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring (D) said in a tweet Sunday he would be exploring legal options to stop an "assault on Democracy." He also praised Democrats in Congress for scheduling an emergency hearing, saying "DeJoy and the entire Trump Administration must answer for exactly what's going on."

"Ballot harvesting" coupled with the automatic mailing of ballots in states like Nevada is "rife with fraud" and could cause major issues in the November election.

States such as Nevada and California have decided to automatically mail ballots to voters for the November election rather than require them to send a request first.

"What I'm reading about Nevada concerns me greatly," Davis said during a conference call on Wednesday with Illinois election officials. "I have been reading that somebody can return five ballots in one envelope without signatures. That's something that is rife for fraud. Look, political operatives should not determine how ballots get to and from a voter to a polling place."

Davis said ballot harvesting "corrupted" North Carolina's Ninth District race in 2018.

"We didn't seat that duly elected member of Congress, and we had a special election that elected someone else, and because of that I am very adamantly opposed to political operatives using a process, called ballot harvesting, to go and get live ballots that may have been mailed to every voter in a jurisdiction and hopefully return them to the polling place."

"It's a process that has already been rife with fraud," Davis added. "It's one that, unfortunately, if that individual who's likely going to go to jail in North Carolina because it's illegal there, if he would have done that in California, nobody would have batted an eye because it's legal."

In June, the Democratic National Committee unveiled a tool that helps campaigns locate inactive voters who have been purged from voter files by election officials in battleground states.

Davis warned that Democratic Party operatives and activists are advocating that voter rolls in certain states not be updated. States like Nevada rely on the information in their voter files to send out ballots.

"Many jurisdictions have been discouraged by Democrats in Washington from cleaning their voter rolls, and doing voter roll updates," he said. "I have sat through hearings with many of my Democratic colleagues, who have chastised election officials in states like Ohio, for doing what the law requires them to do to update their voter rolls.

"That's something that if you mail live ballots out to individuals who are not supposed to be registered to vote at that residence, it creates an opportunity for people to commit fraud. And we've seen it in Paterson, New Jersey in their most recent primary. We saw it in Evansville, Indiana in the most recent primary. So there are instances of people breaking the law when it comes to mailing live ballots."

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose described the task of maintaining the voter registration records in the state as challenging during a discussion on voting by mail in May.

"It's a dynamic database that's constantly changing by the second — people are turning 18, passing away, moving into the state and moving out of the state, that kind of thing," LaRose said. "I don't maintain a statewide voter registration database. I wish we could. We have to compile that from each of the county boards of elections, where 88 counties maintain theirs and I aggregate those up into one statewide database."

As Just the News recently reported, a third-party organization was automatically mailing out inaccurate absentee ballot applications throughout Virginia, including to deceased people and the wrong addresses.

The Democrat Party is sending out ballots to the members abroad and blatantly claiming it’s okay to send in two ballots. In a memo to fellow Democrats, the organization labeled DemocratsAbroad.org is encouraging Democrats to vote more than once in the upcoming election. Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party arm for the millions of Americans living outside the United States.

After requesting and sending in a ballot using the emergency federal write in ballot (FWAB), the organization says go ahead and send in your official ballot too.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy will testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Friday.

The Postal Service warned 40 states in letters late last week that their deadlines to request, return and count ballots may clash with the realities of mail delivery at a time when USPS is already facing financial troubles, delivery delays and an expected influx of election-related mail.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy canceled changes he’d started to enact that Democrats claimed were “sabotaging” mail delivery at the behest of President Donald Trump.

DeJoy said it was “to avoid even the appearance of any impact on election mail.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gloated that “They felt the heat. And that’s what we were trying to do, make it too hot for them to handle.”

Democrats had claimed that not only was the situation at the post office a crisis, but it was one engineered by President Donald Trump and the Trump-supporting DeJoy to disenfranchise voters and steal the election. They repeatedly brought it up on the first day of their convention. DeJoy has been called to testify this week. Pelosi scheduled an “emergency” vote on a United States Postal Service rescue bill for Friday.

So now that DeJoy has backed down, it seems like the Democrats had a point, doesn’t it?

Not exactly. The crisis as they described it never existed. It was a fiction they peddled to damage Trump’s reelection bid – one the Trump-hating mainstream press was all too eager to amplify

But what about all those reports of mail delays? Well, they weren’t based on any official measures or audits. The stories were all anecdotal. What’s more, most of the complaints about service disruptions and mail delays came from postal worker unions — which have all endorsed Biden for president.

Besides, the postal service has been plagued with delays for years. Back in 2015, a USPS inspector general issued an alert about a “substantial increase in delayed mail.” It said in the first six months of 2015, nearly 500 million pieces of mail were delayed, compared with the year before. That’s despite the fact that the USPS had lowered its standards for what it considered “on time” delivery.

“The impacts on customer service and employees have been considerable,” the IG report concluded.

By the way, Joe Biden was vice president when that was happening.

And you don’t have to look very hard to find multiple news stories of lousy mail service around the country before DeJoy took the helm. Here are just a few samples:

  • ‘It’s a disaster’; Affton residents seeing red over issues with USPS”
  • “Neighbors frustrated with mail delivery issues”
  • “Postal Service staffing shortage causing mail, package delays”
  • “USPS mail service in Ypsilanti blasted by hundreds at town meeting”
  • “Audit: Problems found in Bronx post offices”
Nor has the postal service historically been reliable at handling mail-in ballots on time. An IG report earlier this year looked at mail-voting in Wisconsin and found multiple problems. There were “three tubs of absentee ballots” sitting at a Milwaukee processing center on election day. Many ballots were returned to voters with no explanation, and 390 ballots got delivered without a postmark, making it impossible to know when they were mailed.

There is a crisis with the USPS and the 2020 election. But it’s not the one Democrats have been peddling.

In fact, this crisis is the fault of those very same Democrats – who have been pushing mail-in voting schemes since early this year without any consideration of the enormous impact it would have on the integrity of the November election.

Pelosi and company tried to get universal mail-in voting mandated nationwide as part of pandemic relief legislation. They have since been filing lawsuits in states across the nation to require mail-in ballots be sent to every voter and rules to prevent fraud lifted – despite the fact that there’s no more public health risk from voting in person than there is going to the grocery store or Home Depot

In suburban and rural areas, people can and do routinely stick their outgoing mail in their mailbox. They then raise the little red flag on the box, which is a signal to the mail carrier that, in addition to delivering mail, he or she should look for the outgoing mail. Residents can also clip their correspondence to the mailbox, secure in the knowledge that the mail carrier will take it the next day.

It’s only in cities that mailboxes are so important. Urban houses have mail delivery systems that are set up so that the mail is pushed into a slot that deposits it inside the house, where thieves can’t get at it. In large apartment complexes, where the mailboxes are in a public hall, with lots of comings and goings, people would never dream of leaving their outgoing mail sitting by the box – again, because of the risk of theft. The familiar blue United States Post Office mailbox is the safest way to send off mail.

In urban environments, everyone is a stranger. People have their friends from work, but when they hit the sidewalk or go into a store, they’re surrounded by unfamiliar faces. There is very little social control, trust, or conscience when you don’t know people. You need to be able to classify people quickly, and stereotypes come in handy.

In a smaller community, where faces become familiar, the trust and control are higher. You know that man’s children are in your school; that woman lives down the street from you; and that child is trouble for your children. You don’t need ugly stereotypes to help you navigate your day, and you don’t need the government in your face all the time, pretending to be the only friend you have.

And of course, when it comes to mailboxes, you know that those blue boxes are a convenience for city dwellers. You also understand that, if you vote by absentee ballot, the mail carrier will take your ballot right off your property for you.
