Unfortunately, it usually seems like most of the evidence from the conspiracy theorists isn't on the up and up. Lots of half-truths usually.

True. I am inclined to think that it was a very simple matter of suicide. Or accidental overdose. She may have been very lonely and depressed at the time.
Marilyn Monroe's death was ruled by the coroner as a probable suicide from self administered overdose of sedative drugs. The toxicologist discovered in addition to nembutal a large dose of chloral hydrate was in her system. Her Doctor Hyman Engelbert stated that he knew nothing about chloral hydrate and he only wrote her a prescription for nembutal. He also stated that Marilyn made many trips to Mexico where she could get many drugs over the counter. Everything that I've read about Marilyn Monroe makes me believe that her death was accidental. If there was a cover up it was not because of murder, just to protect embarrassment of prominent people. The FBI considered Marilyn a security risk, with her involvement with the President , Attorney General and socialization with known communist. But then the FBI thought everyone was a Communist.
Good point. I did not know about the nembutal. Perhaps she was intoxicated and mixed drugs with alcohol, making her death accidental as you pointed out.
She had a rather turbulent history, and desperately wanted a baby. She had several miscarriages. She was being used by a lot of prominent men. She may have felt she was slipping back to her early days, when I believe she was a prostitute, and committed suicide. Or she simply had no idea what a dangerous dose was, or what she could or could not mix.
Her mother was mentally unstable and was institutionalized when Marilyn was 5 years old and where she would have wound up, if she had lived, leaving her to a seccession of orphanages and foster homes. She had a couple of miscarriages, probably from drugs or they were abortions, I just couldn't see her as a mother. I never read that she was a prostitute but if she was, she never made much at it. She was giving alot away for free. Marilyn was a sex Goddess who yearned to be more, a serious movie actress, who didn't have the talent. Then one night in 1962 she overdosed.
I don't think she knew that she was overdosing. If she would have decided to commit suicide, it would have been much more dramatic than that.
Well, she did have the talent, but could never get past the sex goddess thing. She was desperate to be a mother, but miscarried several times. The fact that you don't see her as a mother doesn't mean that wasn't what she wanted.
Most suicides don't leave notes. They just do it. Actually, they usually get their affairs in order first.
And what was that talent? acting, its obvious you have never seen her movies! Singing? How many Marilyn Monroe albams do you have? The woman had no talent other than the sex goddess thing. Even the major movie studios saw her talent, thats why they cast her in dumb blonde roles. Well, she may have been desperate to be a mother, just like a serious actress but failed in both. I don't think she committed suicide and she could have never gotten her "affairs" in order.

Exactly. I can't see her writing a note, more like making an enormous statement, dressed in an awesome outfit, and people would have known something is up, she would have celebrated before dying.
