Good. (The message is not long-winded enough, Sorry)
wonderful...no need to continue
I cant claim to know 'hundreds' of people![]()
Well, I suppose it's a way of saying 'a lot', but very few of the many people I know have got divorced. On the other hand, very few of the people I know have ever voted tory, so I suppose there are a lot of undeveloped brains out there in the caves! Ugh!![]()
I have no problem with same sex couples. As far as religion is concerned, I think a lot of the hangups religious people have is because they automatically see same sex relationships as fornication. I disagree with that, love is love and in my opinion a same sex couple who feel true love for each other are closer to God than a hetero couple who go through the motions. Don't tell the Church I said that.![]()
The religious component is not really relevant, people get married for civil reasons, mainly to pool assets. The Bible regards marriage as a legal issue. The religious component is completely imagined
The religious component is completely imagined? Then how come same sex marraige is such a contentious issue? Is it because all of the non-religious people object to a sausage fest in the city-county building? I think not.
I agree that marraige is a contractual issue but if most people believed that then this issue wouldn't be an issue.
