Massachusetts Atorney General Martha Coakley has said that she believes a federal law which defines marriage as a union between a man and woman is unconstitutional and steps over its boundaries into states' rights. She also spoke about discriminative treatment between heterosexual marriages and homosexual ones, which are legal only in select states including Massachusetts.

Thoughts? Personally, I think Coakley is completely right here and even if one is against gay marriage, that does not change the fact that this law is unconstitutional.
