As a NASCAR fan since 1975 I do know about NASCAR. And I watched her and heard the booing. But some of the vets thought it was disrespectful to them also. It is stuff like this that give people that know very little about NASCAR such a low opinion of us rednecks. There are places and ways to "show your politics". Some of us just think today at a race honoring the vets was not the right time or place.

NASCAR is 1 of the few cases when the stereotype is true. Expecting rednecks to do anything but boo Obama and Biden is like expecting my brother-in-law's mom to get into Hell (she's too evil :p). Florida is a liberal southern state, an open socialist could get elected so long as the're a country music loving, BBQ eating, neo-Confederate. Gov. Scott won by less then 1/2 a percent and is the most hated governor in America (even the Republican Party of Florida wants his head on a pike), why? Because he's a neo-con, RR, TP Repub. The only safe Repubs in Florida are neo-Confederate RINOs who talk like rednecks, have the (R) next to their name but run on the Dem platform. Obama might be a fool but he'll win simply because the other choice is a TPer.

Lessee if I got this straight - they cheered for the vet, and booed Mushelle, and that's disrespectful to the vets? Sorry Hoss, that lacks any logic.

Actually, a race honoring the vets was not the right time or place for Mushelle and Ms. Biden to show their faces - they don't have anything to do with NASCAR. They have pure contempt for the people that attend those races - the call them "gun and religion clingers".

Lacking logic or not that is what some of the vets families were saying. And as far as them belonging there or not they were guest of NASCAR. How hard is that to grasp. I have never liked Biden or Obama. Hell I don't like you. But I would not boo your family or their family. You will never get anyone to even listen to your views by insulting or talking down to them. It only shows the people that you are a mean overbearing bully. Why should they respect your opinion when you act like a jerk?
