1. "I don't mind coexistence with religion, but religious people seriously need to practice religion in their bedrooms only. As soon as you theists cross over the line and try to interfere with my life through politics, law, and lifestyle, then you can go shove it up you know where and expect no mercy from me."
this is a contradictory statement. I am not allowed to have an opinion on the laws that govern us if it comes form a theological root. do we through out the first amendment. when we vote do have to check our religion at the door. and vote against our own beliefs? why? to appease atheists, at what cost. that is not at all coexistence.
if someone tries to convert you, say i don't believe in things with so little proof, and if they continue to harass you, file harassment charges, the law protects their right to speak in public even if some people disagree. but you don't have to listen. so me talking and practicing my religion outside of my bedroom is my right.
it seems some people can't tolerate being in the presence of a religious person, why are some atheists so sensitive? if you don't believe in God, why is it so bad that I do?
i am absolutely for coexistence but equality among theists and non theists alike. every opinion that is different is allowed to exist, and not just in your bedroom.
