Obama, clearly, knows this very well. That said, i hardly think the expectations people held were at all reasonable.

I doubt Obama is aware of this. If one looks at his State of the Union Address it contained a long list of "action" items, which were not really action items, but he obviously is not aware of any inaction on his part.
