Republicans criticize President over leaks

The leakage of classified information concerning Iran has prompted some Republicans to attack the President. Some are looking to the Justice department to investigate the matter.

Thoughts?

i basically agree with any criticism of any american that leaks info to our enemies, in fact this is an instinct of self preservation. why would you share your weakness with an enemy unless you are in fact an enemy.

how could anybody agree with "leaks" or complement someone for "leaking" when you play cards that is called cheating.

It really depends on the matter of the leak. I don't think anyone is agreeing with this one though.

Well the term leak means (to me) something is getting out that isnt supposed to be, or in. And as president he is responsable for the people in his employ, as are any prsidents.

Isn't supposed to according to the people holding the secret info. Doesn't mean it is inherently justified. For example, say a person at a large company found out the CEO was committing fraud. If he anonymously leaked the info, would you see that as cheating too?

That is true, i guess it depends on the nature of the leaks
