They gave greater priority & time to National Enquirer style report on ols (10 year old private matter) Trump news, than the boating tragedy in Missouri and tornado news in Indiana.

I'm seriously considering watching another network for evening national news. :smug:

I do, but not 100% of the time. For evening news we've watched ABC for 40 years or so.

Very top story tonight - about possible stripping Secret Clearance of a few people.

I'm sure 99% of people watching the news gives a RAT'S ASS whether it happens or not!!! - hello?!

I used to like ABC too, but you can see the slow creep towards leftism.

Sad but true.

The news should be about people actually care about. Not pandering to the political zealots. About 3/4 of their news seems to be about politics.

not only that but occasionally talk about what is happening in the world. Our news is nothing more than a tabloid these days. unless its titillating (boys stuck in cave) or what some leader says about trump there is no coverage. this makes the public woefully ignorant about the world at large.

Last night I watched CBS evening news instead. Far less "dramatic" top story opening. Was not the usual political hysteria story either!

I GUARANTEE that the top story on ABC News will be about now DJT allegedly knowing about the nothingburger meeting w/Russians at Trump Tower. What a bunch of losers!!!

Tonight I was a little slow after the local news to switch to CBS News, and sure enough, like clockwork, the dramatic rolleyes top story on ABC News was as predicted, the collusion/Manifort/Mueller "investigation" story.

Was a breath of fresh air, that on CBS News, the subject was not mentioned AT ALL.
