I have been wondering this lately. As the population gets bigger, it would only make sense to increase the number of districts and representatives (although I fear who gets to be in charge of the districting). With technology the way it is, we can easily facilitate more Congressman with more technology-based meetings, voting, etc. in Congress.

I haven't done much reading on this yet or checked if there are any notable proposals and of course it would take a very large backing to get such an amendment to the Constitution passed, but anyone have any considerations on this point?

Get rid of D.C. sessions (except for emergency sessions). It'll keep Representatives in their communities where they belong and eliminate the issue of limited space in the Capitol.
