We will never agree. You sound too much like me 10 years ago. I believed all that stuff then. I just don't believe it anymore.

I know they are burning flags. Burning flags makes them feel better for some reason.

But am I willing to ask someone to give up a dad, brother, or son to get into a mess just to feel heroic? No.

I always support our troops. And I think I am supporting them by not not falling into the same old trap over and over. I am unwilling to pay a blood sacrifice to the god of war. I know what it is to bury my own child. That is something you never understand until you do it.

I feel no need to ask that from anyone to help people that hate us to start with.

Of course it is the topic. Syria is closely allied with a country like Iran, a country that funds terrorism. It's got nothing do to with running the entire religion of the Middle East.

And the West doesn't?

It's just as disrespectful as spitting on another countries values, and they chose Russians and Chinese, not Americans and British. :)

I don't think anyone are jumping around in joy because one of their friends or family members are going off to war.

No, the West fight terrorism.
