During the struggles between congressional republicans and democrats and obama over the titanic and growing national debt, the lib media frequently characterized it as "bickering". They also would go out in the boondocks and find some rube who was more worried about his social security check than whether his grandchildren would have their paychecks plundered their whole working lives to pay interest to China, and get him to repeat the "bickering" theme. From the dictionary definition, this means arguing over petty trivial issues. Now, is a $14.5 trillion debt a trivial petty issue? Recently, they revived their "bickering" blather to describe the disagreement as to when obama can make his speech to congress - which he wanted to do on the same night as the GOP presidential debate. (Just a coincidence.
