Sex is a dark disgusting secret for each human being. It is a personal journey of self discovery and personal acceptance. It can be plesure from things that might not be normal or accepted but they are always going to be things that brings you joy to the world.

The fact that there is so much pressure on anyone to hide it makes me feel ashamed.

In this case it's politics ;)

Everyone doesn't accept everything, so bring out things people might not accept and you might take away some votes. Perry is also married so if anything turns up it could point to character issues.
