The true effects of 9/11 on me and mine.

As much as Muslims try to pretend 9/11 was not a direct result of their religion, they are fooling themselves. For myself Allah, the religion and ANYONE who decides to follow it are partially guilty and instantly disliked. You folks can whisper that your religion is one of peace, post youtube videos once in awhile proclaiming how you do not support the violence, Write an article or letter to the papers......it does not matter to me. There is literally nothing you can do to change my perception and actions in the years afterward have done nothing but make the situation terribly worse.

That Muslims often show who they are outwardly in dress certainly helps me to avoid you, and this is appreciated. I do not see this as bigotry or prejudice....it is disgust and fear.

You do this to yourselves by purposefully and obviously being associated with such a thing...Good Luck(SIC).

Am I Alone in these feelings?

No, but likely a minority. Every Muslim I have personally known wer just normal people, with no hint of having any reason to fear them.

And yet.....no one can assume they are nice folk. Granted we cannot be sure of anyone but, That demographic represents FAR more risk and significantly more distrust.

From the perspective of 15 years, your concerns seem valid. From the perspective of centuries of oppression, the shoe seems to be on the other foot.

Since, the political and military interventionism of imperialist politicians and their crony internationalist corporations created the climate for fear and hatred of western culture, by people all over the world (not just Muslims, by the way), it would seem more realistic to be offended by suits and ties, shiny shoes, and any title of nobility.

Tyrants rule from above; terrorists fight back from beneath. It's like a fight between a rottwieler and a cat. The dog thinks that scratching its stomach is unfair.

I simply do not care what happened 500, 100, or even 50 years ago. Nor who did what to who and who seeks revenge. I must deal with the world I live in today....slavery was bad, the Nazis were bad, and a very many other terrible things have transpired in the past.

Take a step beyond the blind corner of your ideological mindset and breath in the air of the actual world.

Islam is a poisonous religion. I can only imagine that it will eventually come to WWIII with these zombies. nothing would make them happier than blowing up the infidels.

9-11 opened our eyes to it. Unfortunately, people have short memories and avoid uncomfortable thoughts. Preferring to think in ways that are less frightening or troublesome. Consequently, many opt out of facing reality by ignoring it or blaming self or their own government.

HUH? And how exactly do those activities make YOU fear them?:unsure::unsure:

you made the statement that the ones you knew were normal and not to be feared,

I stated plainly that you wouldn't know whether to fear them or not because they can blend in and still do atrocities like 9-11.

Okay....so first you have religious nut jobs who want to die for their little imagined shy fairy because a bunch of sheepherders wrote a book that literally says they should to make this sweet little deity of imagined magnificence happy with them. Then these killing camel jockeys ignore the parts of that wonderful book about things they need to do for purity and just focus on the terribly violent parts.
What about this indicates they should be trusted or appreciated?

Yeah, Billy wasn't afraid to use a limited military/restrained when needed and Hilly would do the same. Trump would go WAY overboard, shooting from the hip, making the world a very dangerous place.

And....what does this extremely biased and uninformed opinion of United States military activity have, in any way to do with the subject being discussed?

100% answered the question of whom would be better. Are you slugnutty today?

I AGREED with you, and you bit my head off!!!

Understand first, that had I decided to "Bite your head off", you and anyone reading would absolutely know that was my intent. Secondly, I do not come to a forum to be agreed with as that is rather boring and I am well aware that you understand the validity in my commentary.
I was addressing the turn away and distraction you attempted for this discussion.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and is a rather pathetic attempt to dodge debate.
