Three things I would do

This is what I would do if I were President.

1. Even though people are not anonymous online, they have IP Addresses..
I would make it much simpler to track criminals, child abusers, abusive people and Pirates online, by replacing private E mail addresses, with a Computer Number, linked directly to your LAN Line (and) Cellphone (and) Workplace Telephone numbers..

For instance, there would be no more "choose a name" or privately created e mail addresses...

Your ID (on all websites) would be a Unique 7 digit Telephone Number.

For instance a person in Juniata Park, Philadelphia would have an ID Number of (215) 743 - something.

The 215 signifies that the person resides in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the 743 Signifies Juniata Park, and the last 4 digits is the person's Residence Number.

The number is linked to their home, cell phone and work numbers, at the Phone Company.

And that number would also be their IP Address.

So that when people are a victim of Internet crime, they can be easily traced by just dialing 911 and giving the dispatcher the number.

Privacy has gone far enough... you are not in private when online, you're in public, in cyberspace.

2. I would sue Mexico in the international Court in the Hague, for four things.

*Failing to keep their citizens that are not permitted in foreign countries to leave Mexico.

* Subjecting the illegal defectors to inhumane and uninhabitable conditions along the way to foreign countries that they have no business being in, in the first place..
By not stopping them before they hit the hot, long desert.

* Continuing to fail to abide by international treaties between the United States and Mexico.

* Pegging the sole responsibility of Border patrol and security, onto the United States.

3. I would give the Innocence project $1 Billion dollars in a Escrow, to perform its own independent investigation of ALL of those who currently sit on Deathrow.

Those who come up guilty, are dead on that very day.
I'm clearing house.

And killers are going to pay for they do, and those that are innocent by the standards of the Innocence Project will be given new trials.

How 'bout implanting an unhackable chip in EVERYBODY upon birth, and EVERYBODY else on Earth (if they wish to continue life remotely as they know it) that tracks EVERYTHING they do. That way, crime cannot exist, as criminals would be instantly caught. :smug:

That's a bit ridiculous... but going the extra mile to offer help isn't.
The Internet is the last great frontier.

Its time to tame the frontier like all others have already been.
