I'll have to read up a lot more about it before I have a full opinion, but my initial opinion was positive about the idea of this ratification. Reading into it more it looks as though it tackles the decision made that corporations could spend unlimited funds on ads, but the ruling left the caps on direct donations. Personally, I feel that it should be limited on ads as well, within "reason" whatever that'd be I don't know. The issue is that it lends itself to the idea that the days of the candidate putting in a more personal, and human image is lost in the flood of ads... and that's especially true with the last two elections where the ads themselves were freakin' depressingly negative
