Republicans are trying to blame President Obama for the automatic spending cuts that will kick in via the sequester. They’ve laid the groundwork for this little con as they always do, by repeating it ad nauseam as the premise for their further accusations. They’ve reached so far into their blame game that they’re quoting Bob Woodward.- Worst Speaker Ever: Boehner Uses Pathetic Twitter Campaign to Blame Obama for Sequester

Introduction; My name is Joan but you can call me Æon.

Prologue: I am no fan of President Obama or the Democratic party. I see Mr. Obama as a corporate tool and the Democrats as being disorganized cowards. As far as the GOP is concerned, they are headed for absolute ideological stagnation, like a locomotive freight train with no brakes.

Neither party appeals to me.

Article Opinion; Obama called their bluff and even though the Republicans got "98%" of what they wanted when it went to a "sequester", they still go on the attack with President Obama.

First off, this shows the or nation and the world how far down the rabbit hole of Party before Country the GOP has slid. This is no longer a party of reasonable people who can be trusted to govern.

Republican John Boehner seems to be a man of conviction but like many Democrats, lacks the public backbone to demonstrate it. He has always been a poor choice for Speaker.

I do not subscribe to Twitter, never had, never will, nor do I consider such twats to be worth my attention.

Though I can agree Boehner is a poor leader of the Party, is not entirely his fault. I see the main issues within the GOP more a fracture within the body, than a lack of leadership. The guy must somehow get diametrically opposed forces to work together if anything is to move forward...in this he has failed, but I can understand why.
Obama has a far less fractured party to back him, as well as what seems a majority of the people that actually matter...namely us. Added to this seems to be a relatively moderate approach (tempered with a liberal lean), akin to the place conservatism was 20 yrs ago.

The way he plays it all reminds me of Reagan more than anyone else.

As for the underhanded actions taking place, it seems to be in the playbook anymore...it will kill the party if allowed to continue.
