I will say it again. Some people just blame the US first. Makes no difference what it is. The US is at fault and Bush probably ordered it.:p
Amazing how much power they had given him for all his "faults" even the ones that had not been his making, vs the little power that he really had.

They were scared of him. He never let "details" get in his way.:p
Right. I remember right towards the end, when someone interviewed him just before Obama took over, and he described his day to day programme of activities, and what really impressed me was how very professional and focussed he is. He also works right in the moment. I can't imagine him ever telling his advisory team in the morning when they are dealing with agenda points, give me a week to think this over. He would probably caucus, check what people think, look at his options, and make a decision. That must have kept the people around him on their toes too, he probably would have demanded intelligence and background info on the double.

Right, but he did make plenty of goofs diplomacy wise. The offsetting negative of the positive. I.e. ability to make decisions without flinching, made him blurt out wrong words on international podiums, showing someone who was a bit arrogant. Even with that, my choice between the two would have been Bush, as we need a President who can make decisions, more than a President who is bowing and curtseying to everyone abroad. It would appear that Obama has been adopting Bush's important decisions anyway.

And Bush even gave Chancellor Merkel a little massage. What a guy! No other leader would have been so thoughtful.;)
