Yeah, so what about them ?

They were systematically exterminated. American history is bloody and genocidal but unlike most other nations with similar histories (in modern times, the Middle Ages just plan sucked for everyone) we actually won. You know what they say about victors and history and so Germany get demonized for generations while America gets the faces of it's conquering heroes carved into the Black Hills (taken from 1 of the after mentioned exterminated populations but at least they sort of deserved it).

FALSE! To say "They were systematically exterminated" present 2 false conclusions. That they were exterminated, and that this was "systematic".

1. the killing of American Indians by White soldiers and settlers was no worse than the killing of Indians by rival Indian tribes, which had gone on for hundreds of years before a White face ever appeared in the western hemisphere.

2. By a wide margin, encounters between Whites and AIs were peaceful, and involved trading, sharing, education, and even intermarriage on a large scale. Sure there were bad one s too, but these have always been overplayed due to the dime store novels which made their publishers rich by sensationalizing the bad stuff, while finding that the peaceful stories jst didn't sell. As a result the folks back east who bought these cheap but exciting books got a distorted perception of the midwest and west, which has lingered on.

3. By far, European diseases (AIs had no immunity or cures for) especially smallpox was the cause of most AI death, and this was generally incidental, not systematic.

See post # 187, and note that there is no comparison whatsoever between the unfortunate deaths of American Indians at the hand of European Whites or Indian tribe against Indian tribe, and the 270 million people killed by Muslims for 1400 years. And for as many AIs who were killed (not always unjustly), there have been that many or more AIs who have been helped by the US govt.

If you want to focus on US crimes, Vietnam would be a better example than American Indians, but even then, there was a lot of resistance among the American people to the wrongs of Vietnam which were perpetrated by a very small minority of Americans in high levels of the govt.

Many Americans fought hard against injustices being carried out. During the 80s, when Reagan was funding the Contras in Nicaragua, one guy got his feet cut off by a weapons train, in a protest against that.

You can come off your high horse now (meaning bold print and multiple exclamation marks)

And yet Hawai'i is the only native nation to survive intact.

I made not of that. ;)

2. By a wide margin, encounters between Whites and AIs were peaceful, and involved trading, sharing, education, and even intermarriage on a large scale. And yet they were systematically rounded up and death marched to what amounted to death camps with little water, no arable land and no shelter.

3. By far, European diseases (AIs had no immunity or cures for) especially smallpox was the cause of most AI death, and this was generally incidental, not systematic.

Yeah, of course, I've got their names, their dates, their locations, and the number of people they killed (over 270 million people-120 million Africans, 80 million Hindus, 60 Million Christians, and 10 Million Buddhists)

The text answer is way too llong for what this forum permits, so I will spread the answer out into 3 or 4 posts.

Did you think for one second that I did NOT have that information ? Maybe you missed the post where I said that I have studied this subject for 12 years in 25 well-researched books (and their thousands of footnotes) Of course I know all those things. It's world history, (however in many schools, and in their textbooks, this history is altered so as to favor Islam)

There's way too much to ever answer this at once here (it would take a few whole books), but here's a sample in outline:

Basra attacked/conquered - 634 AD

Damascus attacked/conquered - 635 AD

Ctesiphon attacked/conquered - 636 AD

Alexandria attacked/conquered - 641 AD

I don't understand what you're "sorry" about. Clarify ?

Also, from your source, we see >> " Scholars believe that the main causes of were new infectious diseases carried by Europeans explorers and traders. Native Americans had no acquired immunity to such diseases, which had been chronic in Eurasian populations for centuries.[4] For instance, some estimates indicate case fatality rates of 80–90% in Native American populations during smallpox epidemics.[5]

Exactly as I said. Incidental, not deliberate (as in the case of Muslim conquest)

Also >> your source says >> "According to the U.S. Bureau of the Census (1894), "The Indian wars under the government of the United States have been more than 40 in number. They have cost the lives of about 19,000 white men, women and children, including those killed in individual combats, and the lives of about 30,000 Indians."[6]

30,000 ? Not much - compared to 270 Million. ( and we don't even really know who the good guys or bad guys were, in every case, in these wars. Remember, Indians were not adverse to doing some attacking themselves. They warred for centuries against other Indian tribes before Whites ever came here.

And it is FALSE to say we "decimated" them. Generally, they fell prey to an unfortunate circumstance about infectious immunity.

You're talking to a guy who points to a millenium and a half worth of war and yells genocide. Don't wast your time.
