The White House has proposed a $3.8 trillion budget for fiscal 2011. The proposal includes several tax hikes, primarily through letting the Bush tax cuts expire, but it will still add to the national debt significantly.

We knew it was coming, And it would be worse if not for the upcoming elections being so close. I hope they do just keep pushing. Then the "backlash" will wash a bunch of them to hell out of office.

Quite a number of voters who voted for Obama on the basis that this President will be different and that they will be paying less taxes, must be very cynical and disillusioned right now . People with their feet on the ground at the time of the elections must be rolling their eyes.
