Some Democrats were trying to move up the HR3200 (the healthcare bill) vote to this week, before the August recess. This was obviously to try to force a quick vote and hope that the bill goes through because as times goes on it continues to get picked apart and they are losing supporters. Thankfully, there was an announcement today that that effort has now been ditched.

There are rumors that some Congressmen will still try to push it forward and this message was just a red herring, but I doubt anyone will have success at pushing it up now.

They feel like if too many actually read it they will not get it through. What do they think will happen if they get this garbage passed? The people will run them out of office on a rail. Time will prove what they have done to the people of this country.

Good news, although tonight I read somewhere that the legislators have gone back to the drawing board again. I still wonder how long they can keep at this as Obama is very overdue with his presentation of the budget, and I imagine once the budget has been presented, the healthcare bill won't stand a chance. The article below says the Committee is to report back in November.

I am glad to see this senseless idea finally ditched. The "healthcare for the people" facade presented by Obama was nothing but a conspiracy against the working taxpayer for the profit of insurance corporations at the expense of the taxpayer.
