Keynes the Wrong Versus Hayek the Right

Because neither one used the silly methodologies (or lack thereof) you do.
Describe for me my silly methodologies.

Also, when you phrase it so simply (Hayek v. Keynes), it becomes quite apparent that you don't know what you are talking about.
Some people can try to take simple things and make them complicated. I take the complicated and make it simple. Hayek versus Keynes is so simple it can be reduced to a five minute You Tube rap video. You should watch it. Then seek out the others.

Do you even know the major studies and theories behind Keynesianism or do you just use it like a political talking point like you do with everything else? (you don't actually have to answer either of those- I already know the answer)
Keynes wrote his theory with a view toward having the all seeing, all knowing government manage the economy. He foolishly believed the government could manage the economy. Clearly it cannot. Would you like it to be more complicated? We can talk about circular flows if you like. But I prefer not to. Keynes was wrong.

Might interest you to know that a lot of people today including many advisors for a lot of politicians consider themselves neither to be Keynesians or Austrians (the school Hayek is usually associated with).
Do you think it matters what they say?

Has government spending gone way up or way down? We are being destroyed by a mixture of Keynes and Marx. We could be saved by Hayek.

You asked a question of me, and I replied with my opinion.

If your intent all along was to simply have a platform in which to proclaim your distaste for the topic in question...it would have been much easier to not have asked, and instead gone straight to the rant.

Powerful debate skills you have there.

Are you conversing with yourself?

I am just going to leave it at saying it isn't that simple and even Hayek would have agreed (in fact, he clearly did given what he wrote and said in his talks). Sometimes simplification is a good thing, but not always. And you severely misunderstand Keynes' positions anyway... (and still neglect that there aren't as many true Keynesians anymore anyway- Friedman "won" on the monetary theory front and we have a lot of supply siders in government).

It was hard for them but they were geniuses.

It is not that hard. I understand Keynes just fine. Government should spend. No wonder those in governments love him.

Friedman was articulate. He is interesting to listen to. And mainly he agrees with me.

That is a severe disjustice to Keynes. He didn't say that. Even Friedman would agree to that because unlike you, he believed in scientific methodologies (he often spoke of the importance of empirical study in economics).

Yeah. Really, when you get right down to it that was his message.

And knock off the scientific methodologies crap unless you want to go into credential comparisons.

I am one level below a Director where I work. I could compete for and win a Program Management job if I wanted to. I do not expect you to understand.

My life's work is based upon the scientific method. Your comment is becoming a screed. Do not let it.

It doesn't matter what your life's work is based on. I don't know about your life/career, nor do I want to. I am commenting on what you are posting here which for the most part is just political talking points and misrepresentations.

This is a good article for you to read: http://neurotheory.columbia.edu/~ken/cargo_cult.html

Actually it does. Why do you mindlessly fall back on your belief that I do not understand science or the scientific method?

...which is nothing more than codewords for your disagreeing.

LOL. You disagree because you are unable to even comprehend limits to government. No problem.

This is a good article for you to read: "Cargo Cult Science" - by Richard Feynman

Yeah. UFOs. That's the ticket. Have you read Six Easy Pieces? How about Six Not So Easy Pieces?
