No, MYP, these people are dupes of those that would use them to their own perverse ends. Indeed, their stupidity goes right up to the Speaker of the House.

All I need to do is find one person who is not like that to disprove your whole claim :p

Either way, I hope you hold a similar sentiment to the Occupy crowd as well given the similarities in thought process (or lack there of) amongst a notable subset.

Well, find that person - if you can. You will be like Diogenes searching for an honest man!

You should be wary of what you believe. As such a learned fellow, you should know that the original participants of the Boston Tea Party were protesting taxation without representation; and as a critical thinker, you should contrast them with the current "teabaggers" that are just against all taxation period. Indeed, they are more aptly named the "free lunch" party. And what side are they on? Do you really believe that they are pro gay rights? Are they for gay marriage? No, no, no! They are the party of "me" - the party of "no" - and their esrstwhile representatives the "Knights who say ‘Ni’!"

And these "birthers" are a perverse lot; they are intellectually dishonest. They are unwilling to accept the fact that they have no claim and no case; and despite all the facts and evidence to the contrary, they persist in their false beliefs. In this, they are only deceiving themselves. The truth is that they just can’t face the fact that there is a black man in the White House! That’s the bare face of it. They can’t believe it; they can’t accept it; they won’t accept it.

Great Caesar was right when he wrote: "Men readily believe what they wish to be true."

Only with racists, I fear. The obsessive - incredibly obsessive - hatred expressed everywhere by your Republican extremists for your rather right-wing President can surely have no other explanation except widespread insanity? You might note that those who might favour a US under Romney more are: France 5%, Germany 4% and UK 3%, those who would be less favourable France 38%, German 48% and UK 47%. I know that the extremists claim not to care about world opinion except when it helps their racist crusade, but it might perhaps nevertheless suggest how phony their pretences are, mightn't it?

Say something that isn't non sense

You have no idea what you are talking about. You need to stop listening to the programmers.

Democrats are not for gay marriage either. Obama said so himself. They have done nothing and I am sick of the false promises. Such a non issue.

Not shure what a tea bagger is other than hate speach. So I dismissed everything you said after that. I don't listen to bigotry.

Not sure how Boston tea party relates. I am for no taxes. I have witnessed first hand what a welfare state creates. It isn't peace. Why steal my money to give to ingrates? Why should I elect a liar to steal more?

Stop with the slander and bigotry, it doesn't help your cause

Presidents don't have anything to do with marriage. I am more worried about his spending. I could move to a state that has gay marriage if it was that big a deal to me, it isn't in the least, nor do I elect a president based on that issue. Marriage is artificial anyway. I have been with my lover long enough, not being legally married doesn't way on our relationship.

I don't fall for that red hering. Sorry play a better tactic.

I have been to church and republican groups always felt welcome. Lies are so transparent when you take the time to learn something for yourself.

So you're gay and don't care about gay rights? And the Democrats are against gay rights? Well be sure to cast your vote for Mitt Romney and all the Republicans and Tea Party candidates. You are living proof that "politics makes for strange bedfellows."

I believe in equal rights not anything else. Demacrats use gay people as puppets, promising things but never granting them. Never a slightest effort given by them to gain equal rights. Only hot air, so vote for a liar that bankrupts us or someone else that doesn't lie and play that game and maybe will not bankrupt us, maybe not start wars in countries we have no business meddling in, Egypt, and libia, continue a war started by a guy who was wrong to start it but all of the sudden a twerp with a d by his name gets elected and its all good.

You can pretend I am a republican if you want but that iS your delusion. I vote for Romney because he isn't the train wreck currently holding office. If it was Clinton I would consider it. But it is Obama and my vote goes to the one who has not proved he is a failure

hits record is an amazing success compared to the current president. I am conservative, Obama has called me all the dirty names he could. I dispise that man. And his wife. he blew more money in one term than all 43 presidents before him combined. He seeks to "reshape" my country. Frankly if a corpse was running against him that corpse would get my vote. Obama is my enemy, by his words not mine.

So by this logic Shara Palin or Rick Perry should have been the next president because economic growth in those states has been extremely strong in spite of obamas attempts to kill it. So you were rooting for Palin and Perry right.

Or was it still nobody from nowhere Obama with a bigoted and deeply scetchy past, no record of growing jobs, from a state that ranks far below Texas and Alaska in job and economic growth.

Come in, you are terrible at this.

WTF are you talking about? Obama has spent the least amount of money of any president for the last 100 years (accounting for inflation). Hoover spent more money...

You said Obama was a failure and so you were voting for Romney. I pointed out Romney was a failure. Nice try though but putting words in my mouth tends to end badly. :giggle:

Obama is a failure as a president. Romney isn't because he hasn't had a chance to fail. Obama called me a threat to this nation, explain why I should vote for him.

You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. An 11 trillion dollar deficit over the the past three years, do to government spending. Longest economic recession sense the great depression need I continue.

But I guess that is someone elses falt still huh isn't that the lie you tell yourself.

You can't blame 1 president for 260+ years of spending... Obama has only added a bit over $1 trillion and a good chunk of that isn't actual spending but accounting for the cost of Afghanistan/Iraq which Bush swept under the rug during his administration. Obama didn't inherit a balanced budget or a debt-free America.

Yes you are right, he inherited debdt, but so did Clinton, but when he left there was a surplus. I bet it has to do with not blowing a trillion dollars in three years. Obama has faild at everything. He is exactly like bush, I am not sure what is different, except the media tends to praise him for the exact same things they chastised bush for. I really see him as a continuation of bush spending and bafoonedry.

Clinton wasn't fighting a war. Besides, he used the same accounting trick as Bush (only better) to create that surplus, we actually had a deficit in real numbers and every president has had a debt (Jackson payed it off but went back into debt before leaving office) so Obama not paying it off isn't really a failure.
