I used to be for him. Now I would not vote for him. He shows a lack of judgment sometimes. Like with the "Day of Prayer and Fasting for our Nation to seek God's guidance". I believe in God. But stuff like this will either piss off a bunch of possible supporters or scare off people that fear anything about God. That is just one example of why I don't think he can win. Other things like I don't like how he looks and he don't get along the Bush family would seem petty.
I want someone to run that has a chance of winning and making good decisions. Not someone who speaks like they are reading bumper stickers.

I am sorry to hear this. He can't win, but can stir up a lot of BS.
This though if he somehow does win he has my vote. Aside from economics I think he has some good ideas to say nothing of governing skills.
I think too many people either hate the God part of his message or fear it. It would take getting some independents to vote for him to win. And some of them will start the church and state song for sure.
I'm no fan ether but he strikes me as a guy who knows how to play the Evangelicals rather then an Evangelical himself.
We will see how he holds up now that he is stepping in the pool. I do think only Rick Perry can beat Rick Perry. But how many have we seen shoot themselves in foot in front of the world?
In my opinion he held up better than the empty suit that now sits in the office.

Correlation doesn't equal causation. And economic outlook isn't exactly great right now anyway.
