A pdf isn't a virus my computer illiterate friend.
He needs any excuse he can get to not open it so he doesn't have to refute the actual points (which he won't do anyway, instead either ignoring it or finding one name in the piece that is in his opinion "liberal" [usually just because he disagrees with the person and not necessarily because they are liberal] and throwing out all conclusions, all data, and all observations due to that simple observation on his part despite the fact that that is not how academic discourse works or how proper debate is conducted. Ironically, in this process he neglects fundamental methods of intellectual discovery used even by the people he supports and he neglects the entire existence and process of logic, including components used heavily in science and math despite his lofty claims of being a published member of the physics community and one who holds several degrees in the field).
