I have a growing belief that we have to stamp them out before they spread like a virus killing their host wherever they infect.

Report: American jihadi killed in Syria

our culture has been weakened over the false messages that the world is moving towards global citizenship and liberal notions that we must respect all religions (except Christianity). We should respect or tolerate any religion that removes rights from half of its population (women); performs honor killings and savage killings of the "unclean" adhering to the notion that you join them or die.

how to stamp them out though?

symmetrical warfare seems out dated as does invading a country, putting "boots on the ground". I recommend carefully calculated asymmetrical warfare and drone war conducted by an elite few. hosting countries need to be exposed to the virus within. if there is a large cache of the enemy anywhere, blow them up. anywhere.

(steps down from soap box)

any thoughts?

the point is what if we bombed them in London or New York or lake placid. it is not a war confined to a country anymore, it is world war and we must hit them wherever they are to be effective.

Bludgeon the crap out of their homeland, it will flush them out as they will become more desperate. Execute them upon confirmation.

ISIS has grown out of the Free Syrian Army which received direct military assistance from the CIA in Turkey and America's proxy war against the Assad regime clearly backfired with the emergence of the new terrorist group that has set up the Islamic State (IS). Both Britain and the US need to get tough on those who joined al-Qaeda and it affiliates and in extreme cases, their families should lose their citizenship for aiding and abetting terrorism as a form of collective punishment.

A suspect in the beheading of American journalist James Foley is a British-raised rapper who left his parent’s million-dollar London home last year to fight for radical Islam in Syria. Homegrown jihadist Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, a 23-year-old rapper, may be the masked man who severed Foley’s head with a knife in a YouTube video in retaliation for U.S. airstrikes on ISIS in Iraq, according to reports in several British papers. Bary left his family’s $1-million-plus home west of London last year to fight with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and once posted a Twitter photo of himself holding a severed head. “The MI5 (British intelligence agency) investigation into the man behind James Foley’s murder is ongoing, but they have managed to identify the masked British jihadist who can be seen in the video holding a knife to his throat,” a police intelligence source told The Sunday Times of London.

It isn't muslims ****ing up greece, rampaging religious mobs in russia, shooting up scandinavia or vomiting sectarian violence here in america. Mostly white supremacists actually. js
The white supremacists are a punch line I don't buy the media spin. Don't care, about Greece or Russia they haven'ttaken our tanks and declared war on us.

My reply to ISIS

Okay...these guys are pissed we are bombing....and so they chop the heads off Americans (amongst a very many others).

I say Obama posts his own U-Tube video:

"It is now September 3rd 2014 at 6:30 pm eastern standard time while I am taping this. At 4:30 your time I will enact my reply to your threats on September 5th. At his time I ask you to step outside you hut and look up to the sky....you will note an aircraft swiftly going out of view.

This jet dropped an M-61 in such a way that it will impact you in about 3 minutes.....this is called by your people "The Father Of All Bombs" and will remove approximately four square mile of your existence from the Earth.

We only have a few hundred of these right now....so please do not be wasteful."

they may have miscalulated by burning the pilot alive. Jordan vows revenge and there may be a growing wave of anti-islamic state feelings among other arab nations.

The only thing that can be done. Demand peace or bring annihilatIon

On this point I agree. We need to stop saying sorry for finishing the fights our enemies pick with us. Islamists killed 3,000 Americans, we turned the Mideast into our plaything. We shouldn't be apologetic for that, we should be holding it up as an example of why sucker punching us is a suicidal and idiotic thing to do.

Agreed. A surgical war is a losing war.

Excerpted from http://www.constitutionfacts.com/content/constitution/files/Constitution_BillOfRights.pdf

"On September 25, 1789, Congress transmitted to the state Legislatures twelve proposed amendments to the Constitution. Numbers three through twelve were adopted by the states to become the United States (U.S.) Bill of Rights, effective December 15, 1791.

James Madison proposed the U.S. Bill of Rights. It largely responded to the Constitution’s influential opponents, including prominent Founding Fathers, who argued that the Constitution should not be ratified because it failed to protect the basic principles of human liberty. …
… Two additional articles were proposed to the States; only the final ten articles were ratified quickly and correspond to the First through Tenth Amendments to the Constitution. The first Article, dealing with the number and apportionment of U.S. Representatives, never became part of the Constitution. The second Article, limiting the ability of Congress to increase the salaries of its members, was ratified two centuries later as the 27th Amendment. …
… the term “Bill of Rights” in modern U.S. usage means only the ten amendments ratified in 1791. The United States Bill of Rights plays a central role in American law and government, and remains a fundamental symbol of the freedoms and culture of the nation. … "

[Acturus88, I do not believe that the sequential order of our first 10 constitutional amendments were casually or accidentally determined. The first amendment signifies the priorities of the delegates that made those determinations].

" … Amendment I (1): Freedom of religion, speech, and the press; rights of assembly and petition Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".

Attacking any peoples’ rights to hold any general or particular opinions is contrary to our nation’s principles, foolish and undermines our efforts to achieve our own democratic goals.
USA should not tolerate any nation intervening within our domestic affairs and similarly we should respect other nations’ sovereignties. Labeling terrorists as “Islamic terrorists” grants them a false and undeserved status. Terrorism is no more a basic principal of Islam and lynch law is not a basic principal of Christianity.

The status and powers of terrorists that we’re currently with are more enabled due to governments that are less democratic, less respectful of human rights, and are economically less populists. To the extent that the USA advances our national examples of economic and political democracy, we undermine those terrorists’ powers.
To the extent that governments are less economic and/or political democratic, we empower those terrorists.

Respectfully, Supposn
