So, please do explain to me how I am supposed to gain funding? Support from already known figures? ... have a platform that is backed by a sized group of people? You cannot. trust me. Besides, I like the Tea Party.

Of course you can. I don't know if you have been paying attention to Chris Christie but he has been quite quick to call out the current loonacy of the GOP on some issues despite being in the Republican party and he is now getting a lot of support from both sides. That aside, do you really want to sell your viewpoints to the highest bidder? I don't know, maybe you do, or maybe you think you do, but I am not going to compromise my integrity for something like that- I wouldn't be able to live with myself. A politician is the last thing I want to be anyway :p

*Facepalm* Dude... I was a proud REPUBLICAN for the longest time. I lost my liking for them over time *like a bitter sweet relationship with a yearning woman*... So, I had done the same thing. I do line up with the Tea Party though, so why not run with them? I hate politicians, so I plan on being the exact opposite of your typical politician.

Here's a question for Obama and Political Fray members. Suppose somebody had some kind of a mental illness history. But suppose that history goes back to more than 20 years, maybe much longer, and the person has NO CRIMINAL RECORD over all that time. Do you take away his right to own a gun ? (and do you give this right to an 18 year old who hasn't established a clean record for years, and is unproven ?)

Tough one. I don't know where I stand on that to be honest...

No, only conditions that escalate to violence.
