Well, I don't think that is true. Even though they did focus more on the economy since people who are deeply affected by the economic crisis can't still find a job. That would still be a problem for the democrats. The bottom line is you can spend all your time talking about the economy since there is no sign of improvement that would still create problem for the democrats. I believe what killed the democrats was because their policies did not work. They did inherit a mess, but they make it even worse.
