Replaced by true and honest right-wing knowledge, I presume. And I do find it amusing that you think 1 of the most powerful unions is going to suddenly just disappear, those contracts will still be valid and the unions will still have the membership, money and political support they do now when the time comes to renegotiate them. Unless you plan on passing some union busting law but that'll never fly nationally and you know it.
I made no comment about the likelihood of removing the leftwing unions' death grip on american education, but americans have rid themselves of even more destructive forces in the past.
It all depends on the popular will:
Are americans going to continue a wayyyyyyy obsolete system?
Do they want to continue to rank near the bottom of international rankings of industrialized countries in student scores?
Do they want classrooms to continue to be liberal cesspools of Pee See, historical revisionism, crackpot trendy pedogogical methods, condom handouts, gay agenda brainwashing, grade inflation - while the rest of the world is rapidly leaving the US behind with REAL education?
Do they grasp the connection between a declining country and a failed school system?
Are they OK with older incompetent teachers protected by the seniority system, while bright younger teachers get layed off?
The school system is an example of you get what you deserve.
