Oprah seems to have a lot of influence on the Obamas. How about people like O'Reilly and Larry King or other sitcom type shows where the professional media person is not a career politician, however seems to be very powerful in politics? I have to agree, this is a good question. In some ways non-politicians act as watch dogs of career politicians as well.
