Whatever the average human lifespan, 100 years or more, it is a modicum of eternity. Hence, despite the belief and pride that mankind is created in the image of God, human beings are no different from other living things such as bacteria that come and go in this world, seemingly without any purpose. Most of us are busy toiling for the food of survival that we have no time for this food for thought:
Is there any purpose for us mortals to come to this world? In other words, is there any meaning in life? Just to toil and rest for a modicum of eternity on this earth until we toil no more and rest forever and ever?
