Whether you voted for remain or leave, the handling of the Brexit campaign was undeniably quite poor. Misinformation was present on both sides which makes one question whether it was truly the right decision to leave the result up to the public.
Despite such an important decision being left in our hands, the aftermath of the result was met with perhaps more uncertainty from our government than expected. The outcry for a second referendum was overwhelming. Although a second referendum is unlikely, there's an online referendum regarding keeping the Brexit debate open. Do the public still think leaving is the best choice, and if so, isn't it time we started to become more involved in how/which negotiations will be made on our part?Is it worth debating a compulsory vote, given that if less people had 'protest' voted, we would be remaining?
