So fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan is the same as fighting Japan and South Korea? Please...
No, the concept of a war of attrition in Asia is. Thank you. <rotflmao>

Yes, becuse the Taliban can call on the billions of Chinese to aid them...No, it doesn't work that way.
there I go again being unpatriotic and unreasonable. <sigh>
I am outside of America, but I wasn't speaking of Europeans or Asians, I was speaking of Americans and they would hardly put their own country down like you just did.
Iraq was threatening The UK and The United States, and of course when they're threatened they should and have to defend themselves. Now ask Kurdish and Shiite, I really believe they feel much more liberated now then they did before 2003.
And if The US are only oil hungry, shouldn't they have invaded countries like Saudi Arabia, The Emirates or Qatar?
Iraq was threatening western countries? When?
I missed that, that's funny!
I think it's funny because it never happened.
Tell me, what is fascism? Your definition fascism? Because I think we have a completely different way of interpreting what fascism is.
After first draining the Brit treasury down to zero and beyond, while US Ambassador to England Joe Kennedy was urging FDR to support Germany.Haha, watched to choose sides? This is an outright lie. The Americans were already supporting the British before Pearl Harbour.
What a US propaganda stereotype. Europe would be German today if it hadn't been for Russia.if it hadn't been for America, Europe would have pretty conditions today.
Study political science, my friend. It's not my job to educate you.

You mean the same Russians that took most of the war to throw off an invasion and then didn't get past east Germany while the US not only had to deal with an invasion/counter-invasion of it's own but also helped to conquer North Africa, Italy and Europe? The Russians who's only claim to fame was taking Berlin? That Russia?![]()
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Army#Wartime
At the end of the Second World War (1939?45), the Red Army was the largest army in history, possessing more tanks and artillery, and experienced soldiers, commanders, and staff than all other participant forces combined.
Oh brother. No, this one.
And that doesn't change anything I said. It actually makes them look worse considering everything I said was true..
I agree. Remember, though, that:
a) their tactics were utter crap
b) the Russian Air Force was next to non-existant
c) terrain made logistics of supply tricky
d) the German army was better equipped
e) the German army was better trained
f) the German army had a more liberal organisational structure and functioned more efficiently and effectively
Oh, I'm not saying the Russians were bad fighters. I'm just saying they didn't win the war.
They beat Germany. Argue against history all you want. 75-80% of the Wehrmacht was fighting Russia and still it took a three year build up and a three month battle for the Allies to break out of Normandy. :giggle:
And it took just as long for Russia to get out of it's own territory, while the UK was under siege and and the US was fighting off it's own innovation and conquering Italy (all this after getting the Axis out of North Africa). I'm not the 1 arguing against history.![]()
Is the US armed forces that out of control?
In Baghdad that is exactly what happened. Combat operations were over and that fact had been officially announced. Remember "Mission Accomplished?" The only thing left was operations in support of civil authorities yet US forces responded with full combat arms in support of mere arrests.
If US troops remain in-country after combat operations are over and use combat tactics and supporting arms for civil law enforcement, they deserve getting tarred with the same brush as Nazi SS. It might be the fault of commanders and not the fault of individual men who have to carry out the duties, but that's not the world's problem.
